How to Use a Crimp Cover

Using a crimp cover will give your work a neat and professional look. They are available in several finishes including antique gold for that vintage feel.

For projects where you will be stringing beads without exposing any of the wire a cover and a wire guardian will give a polished finish to your work and keep the focus on the beauty of the design and not the hardware.

They are extremely simple to attach. Simply slide the open end of the cover over the crimp bead.

Then squeeze the cover gently with needle nose or bent nose pliers until there is no gap showing.

Tip: For an extra strong hold add a dab of glue on the crimp before you attach the crimp cover.

That's it! Now you can add them whenever you want a really polished look.
